Indie On The Move is the next level for all artist. Kyle from IOTM, helped book 7 shows in two weeks for my upcoming 'Funky Vibes Tour'. They're legit and serious about business. My kind of people
- Mark Carson
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/MarkCarsonMusicI've been using IOTM for over a month now. I just wanted to write and give kudos for compiling such a large and comprehensive list for touring musicians. This website actually makes me feel like I have the same tools that a pro booking agency has to schedule tours. Well-done and thanks :)
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/cliffdiveWoodhead was very pleased with Indie-on-the-Move, and had great success in booking over 20 dates throughout the Northeast this summer. Kyle was knowledgeable, professional, and quick to reply, which was especially important when we were filling open tour dates on short notice. Every single date we targeted was filled, and the logistics make sense (mostly)! We have always done our own booking, and really liked how IOTM enhanced that capacity; most importantly, we still retained full control over our interactions with the clubs (rather than ceding this power to a third party booking agent). But as busy, full-time musicians, we would never have had the time or manpower to gather the breadth of information available in the IOTM booking spreadsheets. Handling our own intake allowed us to be selective with about where we played, but the wide reach of their contact pool generated some opportunities for us that wouldn't have been there had we done a narrower solicitation ourselves (especially in our home market of NYC). We spent a couple hundred bucks, hit up almost 500 venues across 13 markets, and got exactly what we paid for. And we'll do it again. So should you. https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/WoodheadBandNYCWith the help of IOTM, we have not only one healthy tour under our belts but two more on the horizon for this year. Without having to worry about the struggle and time spent locating and reaching out to each venue, we as a band are able to grow and develop our music quicker and more efficiently. With so many helpful tools and advice, we would recommend IOTM and its services to anyone. https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/Jbanks00Indie On The Move is an absolute life-saver for independent artists! Kyle was so instrumental in booking my first tour. He made the entire process simple, fun, and (most of all) effective. Can't wait to go out on the road again!! http://www.haleymaecampbell.com
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/haleymaecampbellKyle did a GREAT job helping to book my first tour EVER last year, and it was big, from Boston to L.A. Everything went great, I had a great time and I learned so much from how he did things I have been able to book subsequent tours on my own using the resources from Indie on the Move. I would highly recommend using the D.I.T booking service!!!
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/JessJusticeJust wanted to make a quick post to let you know what a great experience I had on my "Lessons from Life and Love" album tour. Kyle was extremely professional and helpful with setting up my pitch and contacting venues on my behalf. It was my first tour in the US and I had 11 dates lined up! Several venues have invited me to play again and I'll be returning to a few of them this month. I'll be planning a larger tour in the fall and will definitely rely on IOTM to get that going. Great experience!
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/KimiaPMusichttp://www.hubbywifeduo.com/shows Of the 35 bookable, submitted days on this calendar between May & July 2016, we had one(1) show booked before we invested in Kyle's service. After email blasts at the end of March, now we have 18 shows booked in that range, and they are still coming in confirmed weekly. I've spent many many hours booking local/regional shows for other acts and my own, over the past couple of decades. IOTM's service this year has boosted my knowledge and efficiency by leaps and bounds. Sure wish I would have discovered it sooner. Professional, very prompt and attentive communication, and dedication to keeping an accurate live-music-oriented venue database: this is what you can expect with IOTM's service. We cannot say enough about how Kyle has helped boost our campaign. Soo excited to hit the road this summer! Todd http://www.hubbywifeduo.com
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/hubbywifeduoThe tour booking service is extremely convenient and helpful. Kyle talked to me for an hour about my music and my accomplishments as a musician, wrote up an awesome pitch and then sent out about 50 emails for each market. All I had to do was sit back, watch the responses come in and decide which gigs I wanted to accept. I really think what you get for the money is totally worth the time you save researching and emailing venues yourself! Thanks, Kyle and IOTM, you're awesome!
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/Danied318Every band wants a booking agent; someone who is an expert in the field and can do all the work, so the band can focus on making music. Booking a tour is particularly difficult since you are trying to find appropriate venues in various markets, on specific dates. Then, in many cases, the venues require you to find local acts to help fulfill the draw. Without a booking agent, this is a daunting, complex, and challenging task. Enter IOTM. For a very reasonable fee they write your email pitch, and using the dates and markets you requests, they organize it into a plan and send out a ton of emails for you. Then, if needed, they send out a folow-up pitch for an even smaller fee. They also provide proven advice on how to find local bands for each market. We have a terrific tour lined up for late April in SoCal thanks to IOTM! The website also features DIY services. We used one of them while we were touring in NYC. The result being we got booked to open for a popular band that had sold out one of the most popular venues in Brooklyn. The website is chock full of helpful resources and advice. IOTM is a smart, effective and inexpensive option for bands not quite ready for a booking agent.
