About

EYE ON ATTRACTION IS A PROGRESSIVE/ALTERNATIVE ROCK BAND WITH MIND-BLOWING ENERGY AND TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY. Eye on Attraction is the pet project of nationally recognized drummer Andrew Merkle, selected by Mapex USA as one of the top 8 young drummers in the country in 2011. Andrew has been on countless national tours alongside acts such as The Pretty Reckless, Sevendust, Adelita's Way, and Gemini Syndrome. Despite such incredible success so early, he has decided to focus all of his attention on Eye on Attraction, seeing the most potential in the band, by far. Eye on Attraction has its own praises to be sung. They released their EP "Staircases" (mastered by Mike Watts of Brand New/Pixies fame) to critical acclaim. Since Andrew's return from touring, the band has amassed even more of a following. Intensely focused on spreading their music across the country, the band logged over 100 shows in 2014, all booked independently. Taking influence from bands like Coheed and Cambria, Circa Survive, and The Dear Hunter, female fronted prog rockers Eye on Attraction pride themselves on providing catchy hooks, remarkably complex instrumentation, and an intense live show. The band leaves a long lasting impression on every crowd they play for, often being dubbed "the best live band we have ever seen."
