Originally from Brooklyn, Gabriel Mayers got his start playing on the subways and streets of New York where videos of his performances eventually caught the attention of Grammy Award Nominee Linda Perry. He was then flown to Hollywood to star in Vh1's, The Linda Perry Project. After that he was featured on Oscar Nominee Josh Fox's Latest film and was placed on the 2017 Academy Award shortlist for best original song.
