IOTM and the QuickPitch emailing are a total game changer for booking shows efficiently. No more sending a million individual emails, taking up so much time. Kyle is absolutely amazing and always happy to help. I have been so busy with booking paid shows and touring from IOTM bookings that it took me forever to get around to writing this review...I don't think there is a better testimonial than that!
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/freedomheartsongtourKyle and IOTM have had my back when it comes to booking gigs for about 10 years now. Trying to diy can be frustrating and discouraging. I highly recommend their services if you’re trying to take your music on the road and into unfamiliar territories. - Cody Mirabal from Ph8 w/ The Bees & Locusts
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/Ph8It has been such a pleasure working with Indie On the Move. Kyle and Kristen have been so helpful with assisting booking my first tour. In a world where everything feels too good to be true, IOTM's "DIT" service offers a real, legitimate way to book and route a tour. As an independent artist, this is something that can be quite daunting and time-consuming, yet at the same time, touring feels so necessary. I was trying to book a tour with my manager and even just finding venues to reach out to and waiting to hear back was extraordinarily time-consuming. So when I found out about IOTM's DIT service, I felt so hopeful. My manager, Maggie, and I worked with Kyle and Kristen and they helped us put together two solo tours. I just came off of the first run and the next is in a couple of months. I can't wait to work with them again and highly recommend IOTM to anyone trying to book!
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/sophiecoranAs an independent touring artist Im always on the hunt for reliable booking info, venues and other artists to perform with and I must say I am beyond impressed with Indie on the Move. From the moment I signed on, the websites user-friendly interface made it easy for me to navigate through the various options available. I was able to quickly connect with venue owners and event organisers who were interested in booking me. What impressed me the most about IOTM was the personalised attention I received with their "Do It Together" campaigns and also the ability to reach out to potential opening acts in new markets to help with draw. They were always available to answer my questions and offered valuable insights and guidance on how to improve my chances of getting booked. Overall, I highly recommend IOTM to any musician looking for a reliable and efficient platform to help them book gigs and advance their music career.
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/ryan.zimmerman.33I've been using Indie On The Move since 2017 and because of this website, I've been able to travel all around the country playing the music I love. Their database cuts down on a lot of the research it would traditionally take to find the contacts at venues and get directly in touch with the gatekeepers. I've played in almost every state in our country and have established contacts and connections that have grown and still benefit me to this day and it wouldn't have been possible without Indie On The Move, it's an invaluable resource in my booking arsenal. Thanks for all that you do- Pentley
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/Pah8012We’ve been so happy with the excellent service Indie on the Move provides. Their advice/guidance has been spot-on and we simply couldn’t have set up our west coast tour without them.
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/chrisvamI've been doing music for ever so if this is your 1st experience with paid shows take it from me when I say this is a great company to trust with getting you booked some shows will be paid some shows won't but you understand how valuable that is if this is not your 1st experience on stage great company very professional highly recommend
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/JaycrossI am a one-man band from Long Island NY, got lucky and booked onto Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender in April 2023. Most people get there by flying. I'm not a fan of airports or planes so my best bet is to drive there. I decided on this after the promoter confirmed me on the festival in early October 2022. I missed being on tour more than anything else, having toured heavily in my NYC psychobilly band, The Arkhams. I needed a plan to go on tour with my one man band and fast. I have experience touring but not since 2012 and I was not the one in charge of booking it. Knowing that most of the people I knew back then were not active like they once were in the entertainment business I needed a new direction. After talking to my bandmate, Matt from The Arkhams and Lara Hope and the Ark-Tones he referred me to Indie On The Move. I saw what I wanted to see on a platform like this. Needing to learn the different venues in the different parts of the country I joined immediately with the deluxe membership and away we went Being new to actually booking shows and not just showing up to play them, I set up a consultation with Josh and Kyle and they helped me write the script for what to pitch venues when emailing them. It works 90% of the time. Being that I'm a one man band and I don't have 3-4 other people's schedules to take into account when booking shows, I take everything I can get. My originally planned 2 month tour expanded into a ln 11 month tour because every time a venue owner told me they're booked on a particular night, I would make up another date I'd be back in town and be persistent in emailing them to solidify a show at a given venue in a given market. Indie on the a move is helping me move the needle from zero to one, point a to b however you look at it. Not only do they give you a perfect pitch for venues and promoters but they also helped me pitch newspapers, magazines, radio stations and blogs. This is valuable since as soon as I confirm a show, I like to get the word out about it as best I can. While my band, The Arkhams has a lot of touring history especially in the Midwest, I have little to none with this project. I always had an idea to do a one man band but many things were clouding my decision to do it such as having a band with an incredible collaborative energy to it, not wanting to do music without them and loving having the 4 members add onto what each other was doing in real time, felt like nothing else ever. Also as that band was having lineup changes, I decided to open a taxi service on Long Island and put music on hold for a while. Thar while went from one year to 5 years to the pandemic to almost 10 years. In early 2022, I decided I waited long enough, so I needed to get some songs together as I have a massive back catalog of songs over 20 years long that never surfaced in any project I worked in up until that point. This created two full length albums by September of that year and a third one fully recorded, mixed and mastered and on the way. Josh even gave me solid pointers on scheduling my releases to better harness my audience engagement from all angles, people I actually meet at shows, people on my social media, old friends and new people who just found me for the first time. Their consultations are jam packed with good information about every aspect of my musical career including merchandise creation and marketing My tour starts on March 16th and the first leg goes until my birthday on May 22! That's two months and a week where I test the waters of life on the road for the first time since 2012. I reached out to many friends along the way who are close to the shows I'm performing at hoping they like this project almost as much as they enjoy The Arkhams. Leg 2 begins one day later on May 23 and goes until Friday September 22! This tour is going full steam ahead and Indie on the Move is helping out with a lot of what I'm doing here.
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/bobcat522We are a band from NJ, and we were added to a show in Los Angeles that was scheduled for January 20, 2023. Through certain circumstances, we decided to drive out to the west coast, leaving NJ on January 6. We made this decision just after Thanksgiving 2022. Subsequently, we then decided to try and book some shows across the country, traveling out west and back east. We had zero experience with booking such an endeavor, let alone doing it across the United States, and it should be noted this was our band's first significant touring attempt. We contacted Kyle and Josh in the beginning of December 2022 (yes, we were still planning on leaving 5 weeks later on January 6). We explained our situation and desires to Kyle, asking him if we could book this tour with just a few weeks notice, during the holidays. We knew we were asking for the impossible, and Kyle and the team advised us that we would normally need 3-4 months for such a project. However, we collectively decided we had nothing to lose, so let's go for it. Kyle and Josh quickly pulled together an email campaign and a potential tour routing that targeted several markets across the country. They released the booking request emails on December 12, and before we knew it, we were getting positive responses. Somehow Kyle and Josh moved quickly to help us organize this cross-country tour with zero lead time and running into the holidays. In fact, we had to decline a few offers we received because of the actual routing and driving schedule. We are extremely thankful that we are involved with IOTM and met Kyle and Josh. Thier consultation and dedication to working with us and our crazy idea turned into real results, and their guidance worked. We will absolutely be working with the team at IOTM again in the near future and we promise to give them much more time to help us this time! ;) Thank you to Kyle, Josh, and the IOTM team for your dedication to helping independent bands, and also for working with a bunch a crazy dreamers like us!
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/zenoramusicI love this site! Super useful and insightful when it comes to booking gigs. I used your venues directory specifically to find information about a venue I played at in Philadelphia this past month. The show went amazingly and I credit part of the smoothness of the show to you guys for having such a great detailed description of the venue. It helped my fans know all of the information about the kind of venue and the payment system they have which turned out to be cash only. Saved a lot of people from horrible ATM fees haha! Thanks you!!
