To begin with, we provide registered members like yourself with a customized homepage so that you can set your own hometown scene/location and stay informed of local show opportunities, band availabilities, new artists, new venues, classified listings, photos, videos, and more. Tied into this feature is a cross promotional localization tool so that anytime you upload a new picture, video, or song to your profile, your update is displayed across our entire platform for everyone to experience. The more active you are on the site (and specifically on your profile), the more promotion that you receive throughout www.indieonthemove.com and across other members' homepages. You never know who's watching.
Imagine Craigslist for the independent music community. As part of the site, any registered IOTM member can post upcoming show availabilities that he/she needs to fill (geo-targeting specific cities/markets to truly find the perfect performer for the event), announce their band's availability for a specific show date in cities/markets across the U.S., and post classified ads for any good, service, or general want that they have/desire.
Because of our close relationships with the music venues listed on our site, we have partnered with a growing list of clubs to broadcast our members' live shows online. This way, if some of your fans are out of town or simply cannot make the show for some reason, all they have to do is visit that venue's live streaming page on www.indieonthemove.com to enjoy your performance virtually. And this is great for attracting new fans too, as each performing IOTM member gets their profile listed in the live streaming calendar on that venue's page so fans can browse and preview your upcoming show dates and additional music/media.

Well Indie on the Move provides dedicated member-driven forums for all of these topics and more.
