The 8x10 Edit

Headlining acts must draw 150-175 people. If you draw between 50 and 150, you will be relegated to an opening slot. Bands must be able to draw at least 35 people out to a show. If you do not think that you can sell 35 tickets, then come to the open mic on Tuesday nights to prove yourself. On Wednesday nights the club hosts a program called 5 bands for $5. It is designed for bands that draw less than 50 people or have not played the area before. In these cases, the club asks that bands share the risk that they are taking in booking an unproven band by purchasing 35 tickets in advance. Bands pay $105 and get $175 worth of tickets. If the bands sells them all, they keep a profit of $70. Send press kits to the club address, Attn: Booking. In order to be considered for a show slot, you MUST send a press kit to the club.
