While they don't offer monetary compensation, they promote bands to the media, offer a place to sell merchandise & receive tips, and invite members of the music industry in regularly (they also provide a "musician appreciation meal" and complimentary beer after the show). Additional Website: Facebook. Freakin' Frog is a Las Vegas favorite, located adjacent to UNLV, and just 2 miles East of the Strip. It is best known for having the largest selection of beers in the area and bringing in the most talented musicians. The 150 square foot stage has a state-of-the-art sound, lighting & projection television. They host shows Wednesday through Saturday nights. Sunday is dark, Monday is movie night, and Tuesdays are regularly scheduled Jazz night. Never a cover! Be sure to check out the highly acclaimed Whiskey Attic.
