GREAT venue in Lincoln! You DO need to bring your own crowd though because the stage is in a different room than the bar is so there is really no foot traffic at all....but the room and stage are big....a lot of fun to play on! Sound can get a LITTLE boomy...just make sure you talk to Sean about getting there early enough for a good sound check

This venue has some things going for it. As a bar, it is pretty average. Overall size is ample, though the stage is small (but very high). Location is optimal. It is right on a main street of downtown Lincoln which is about a block away from the university. The venue gets a lot of nationals and Knickerbockers is seen as the default place to play in Lincoln. However, there is no parking and we felt the sound was average at best. We left feeling the place was overrated. There is a pretty wide difference in the quality of shows between a weekday 6-9 and a weekend 9-12, because there are several options in the area. Prime time weekend slot is a must to have a good show there. Exception may be Thursdays, which are 25 cent taco nights.

Really cool venue. We really enjoyed it. Gave it 3 stars only because we played a Wednesday, which was a decent night. I am sure it is a 4 star on the weekends. Definitely give this place a shot.

I like the size of the room at Knickerbockers. The stage is raised up slightly higher than a lot of other bars and smaller clubs so thats nice. Has a good name in Lincoln. Just be sure to book with the right local act...as always.

A wonderful room to play in Lincoln. Although its bigger than most of the local clubs, the sound is very strong and locals do come out to see shows that peak their interest.
