Our experience with this venue was that of what you would expect with any bar on a night that wasn't specifically geared towards the band that was playing. We were playing an event for some friends and the venue had arranged a DJ to open the evening for us. Well, being a bar and following dance music, the crowd wasn't that into non-booty shaking music. The gentleman who was the MC for the evening (Elijah) was an awesome guy who encouraged us to go back on for the second half of our set, but the manager stopped speaking to us and turned off the stage sound equipment when we took a break. There were many positives to the evening and the promoter expressed interest in having us back, but the sound system was tricky, we got no sound check, and it was a traditional bar for this area...not necessarily rock-band friendly. I would recommend this venue if you are an acoustic, reggae, or mellow act.
