Pretty cool venue, although they cater to the part of the club that is downstairs. Admission is charged if you want to come upstairs. The sound guy was all sped up and kind of confusing to work with. Nonetheless pretty neat little place to play.

To 'Anonymous/Aug 7', the band gets door, less house costs, as stated in the advance sheet. You must not have had enough support. Yes, we host deejays on Fridays now, we are a 'music' venue, not a 'live music only' venue. Fortunately, other bands have had good experiences, and so has Asylum. To 'Anonymous/Jun 13', yes, our stage is small, we state that our stage is 9x12 in the advance sheet. We've had The Lows Lows play on that stage.

Venue will not stick to the agreed upon billing. They stopped getting live music on Friday nights. You won't get paid. Local bands they stick you with will not bring one person.

Don't waste your time with this one unless you are an acoustic act. They bill themselves as a rock venue, but the stage is barely big enough to get a drum kit and two amps on it comfortably. The sound was not bad and the pay was not bad, but both certainly could have been better. Lastly, make sure you clarify the order of the acts for the night. Even after confirming our spot in the line up multiple times, we still showed up to have another act claiming they were playing first when I was told we were playing first. The whole night was just annoying.

1) We only ask the headliner to guarantee 30 people 2) We have more than a 50 person capacity 3) The agent responds same day
