Description:
Genres: All Folk and Singer-Songwriter based styles, Rock, Jazz, Blues, and Country. Capacity: 40+. They only host featured music shows on Friday and Saturday nights. Free open mic takes place every Thursday. Wednesday nights are reserved for free residency songcircles. They were selected by NJ Magazine as "Best Open Mic in Jersey '09".

This place is great! I've played there about 4 or 5 times in the past year and a half, and they always appreciate their live musicians. The crowd is always attentive and loves to LISTEN, so this is a perfect place for intimate singer/songwriters. They publicize their shows online and at the venue (they love when you send flyers). They have a great sound system, and Trif (the booker) is so kind and accomodating. They give free drinks to performers, and I've never left a show there with less than $50 in my hand, in addition to whatever CDs I sell. This place is wonderful.
