  • Music Streamer KKbox Raises $104 Million For International Expansion

Taiwan based mobile music streaming service KKbox has raised $104 million to fuel its international expansion. Singapore fund GIC funded the new round. Other major shareholders include Japanese telco KDDI and HTC. ChungHwa Telecom, Taiwan's largest mobile operator, will maintain a 30% stake in KKBOX's Taiwan subsidiary.     Jay Z, Kanye West, and Frank Ocean have been hit with a $3 million lawsuit in relation to their excellent 2011 album Watch the Throne. New York musician Joel McDonald claims that the rappers' "Made in America" (which features Ocean on the hook) lifts from a song he penned in 2009 of the same name, as XXL reports.  This isn't the first time the superstars have headed to court over their collaborative blockbuster.
